Competitive Teams

The Vertical View Competition Team exists to develop athletes through competition climbing by fostering leadership, fellowship and virtue to produce champions of both sport and humanity. We are a team oriented toward excellence and growth both on and off the wall. Our young team began in 2020 with the opening of Vertical View and is a driving force in the Treasure Valley climbing community where climbing and competitions remain relatively new. All Competition teams follow events sanctioned by USA Climbing (USAC) from September to June.

COMP 1 costs $230 monthly, with try-outs required and three 3-hour sessions weekly. COMP 2 costs $180 monthly, with try-outs and two 3-hour sessions weekly. COMP 3 costs $180 monthly, with try-outs and two sessions weekly. DEV TEAM costs $120 monthly, with in-practice drop-ins or try-outs and one 3-hour session weekly.

-Membership dues are required.

-No enrollment or cancellation fees.

-Coaches have the right to adjust team placement at any time.

-Comp 3 and Dev Team requires Tryouts or a drop-in practice tryout
