Ropes Course FAQ

  • We recommend wearing comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. Closed-toed, athletic-style shoes are required. Do not wear sandals, flip-flops, Crocs, or slip-ons. Long hair should be tied back, and we suggest removing all jewelry before your session.

  • Yes, you can bring your phone if it's secured in an approved lanyard case. For safety reasons, phones must be attached to your harness to prevent drops. We sell approved phone lanyards at the front desk.

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your scheduled start time can choose one of the following options:

    • Reschedule to a future date

    • Receive account credit for any Vertical View offering

    • Get a full refund to your original payment method

No-shows or cancellations made at or after your scheduled start time are not eligible for a refund or credit.

  • The Ropes Course is open rain or shine, so we recommend dressing for the weather! If you don’t want to climb in the rain, you may always reschedule for a later time in the day or for a different day even if we remain open.

We do monitor for lightning, heavy rain, high winds, snow and ice, and will close the course as necessary to keep our guests and staff safe.

The Manager on Duty will determine ropes course cancellations, and guests may be notified at any time regarding cancellation. In the event that your adventure is cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund or rain check voucher depending on the circumstances. We reserve the right to postpone (or pause) tickets for up to one hour to wait out inclement weather and then resume normal operations.

  • The course is designed for all experience levels. With four levels of increasing height and difficulty, you can choose your own path based on your comfort and ability. Whether you're a first-timer or a thrill-seeker, there's something for everyone.

  • Yes, you’re welcome to observe without purchasing a pass.

    • Ages 8–11 must be supervised by someone 16 or older who is on site during their session.

    • Ages 4–7 must be supervised by someone 16 or older who stays physically next to them on the ground while they climb.
